(2014: 10-0)
Parma will be a contender for the Italian title in 2015 as well. Although they are playing without imports, the club is confident that they can win again with an Italian quarterback. Head coach Andrew Papoccia, former Illinois State player, heads into the season with reasons to feel that way.
The Panthers have four players who have returned after playing college football in the United States, including Micheli Canali who played at Menlo College (NCAA: Div. II). That experience should translate onto the field.
Tomasso Monardi was superb in 2014 and even when his two leading receivers were hurt, he managed to return the Panthers to the Italian Super Bowl for the fifth straight year.
