Spain: Badalona Dracs dominate Terrassa Reds to claim Eastern Conference title

The Badalona Dracs (7-1) cemented their status as Eastern Conference champions in the Spanish National League of American Football with a commanding 48-20 victory over the Terrassa Reds (5-2-1) this past weekend.

The win guarantees the Dracs home-field advantage in the semifinals, where they will host the Osos Rivas (Western Conference runners-up). The Reds, meanwhile, face a daunting trip to face the unbeaten reigning champions, LG OLED Black Demons, in Las Rozas.

Game Highlights: Dracs’ Offensive Onslaught
The Dracs set the tone early, scoring on their opening drive via a Pol Singleton-to-Ramir Tann-Davis touchdown pass (7-0). Despite a strong kick return by Terrassa’s Dandre Fuller, the Reds—hampered by the absence of quarterback Álex Pacheco—could only muster a Samuel Rodríguez field goal (7-3).

Dracs running back Keshawn Williams took over from there, scoring two rushing touchdowns (14-3, 20-3) and a two-point conversion. A Matheus Fidalgo’s interception return for a TD (26-5) further demoralized the Reds. Terrassa’s Alpha Jalloh briefly sparked hope with a blocked extra-point return (26-7) and a late TD (41-20), but Badalona’s Eloi Soler and David Martínez kept the scoreboard ticking. Singleton’s fourth-quarter TD pass to Martínez (41-13) and a final scoring drive sealed the rout.

Key Performer: Keshawn Williams Shines
Running back Keshawn Williams dominated with two touchdowns, a two-point conversion, and relentless ground control. His performance anchored the Dracs’ offense, while quarterback Pol Singleton (3 TD passes) and defensive playmaker Matheus Fidalgo (pick-six) provided complementary firepower.

Semifinals Preview

The semifinals kick off April 12–13, with the Dracs eyeing a finals berth and the Reds fighting to keep their season alive.
