The Mallorca Voltors have made a major splash ahead of Spain’s 2026 Liga Nacional de Fútbol Americano campaign, signing prolific wide receiver Austin Brock, whose dominant performances in Germany and Finland make him one of Europe’s most exciting additions.
A record-setting talent abroad
Brock joins the Voltors after a spectacular 2025 season with the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns in the German Football League, where he posted 65 receptions for 1,092 yards and 10 touchdowns—averaging an eye-popping 16.8 yards per catch and 75 yards per game. He surpassed 100 receiving yards in seven games and finished the year with 1,242 all-purpose yards, establishing himself as one of the GFL‘s most consistent big-play threats. The year prior, he took Finland’s Maple League by storm with the Kuopio Steelers, leading the entire league in receiving yards (1,032) while ranking second in receptions (72) and tying for fourth in touchdowns (9). His 86 yards per game also placed second, earning him widespread recognition including Maple League All-Offensive First Team, Offensive Player of the Year finalist, and votes as the best receiver in the league. He even showcased versatility, recording two tackles and a pass breakup in a single game at cornerback.
From college star to pro ready
A graduate of Mount St. Joseph University (NCAA Div. III), Brock was a model of production and consistency in college. Over his career, he hauled in 138 passes for 1,874 yards and 22 touchdowns, earning First Team All-Conference honors, two conference championships, and his team’s Offensive Player of the Year award. He also received invites to the 2023 FAF D1 Senior All-Star Bowl and Podyum All-Star Bowl, underscoring his reputation among scouts.
Now, Brock brings his elite resume to a Mallorca Voltors squad that finished 3-5 in the Eastern Conference in 2025. With his proven ability to stretch defenses, produce after the catch, and deliver in critical moments, he instantly becomes the centerpiece of their offense—and a reason for fans to get excited for the year ahead.
