Stats leaders in France moving further ahead

After passing the midpoint of the season in the French Federation of American Football Elite division, the Thonon Black Panthers are still undefeated and QB Clark Evans is a large part of the reason. He leads all rushers in yardage gained by a huge margin.In fact, Thonon has three of the top five rushers in the league.

St. Ouen l’Aumône Cougars QB Luke Casey is another standout performer and finds himself third in two categories, passing and rushing.

The  Marseilles Blue Stars and Thonon Black Panthers both have three players among the three categories while the Montpellier Hurricanes, St. Ouen l’Aumône Cougars and Rouen Leopards have two each. The Grenoble Centaures, Amiens Spartiates and Aix–en-Provence Argonautes each have on representative.  The Bron-Villeurbanne Falcons, Asnieres Molosses, La Courneuve Flash and Evry Corsaires do not have a single player among the top five in any category.

Passing

Marseille Blue Stars QB Chase Burton is still the passing yardage leader after leading his team to a 5-1 record and throwing for 1,452 yards and a league-best 17 TDs in six games.He is followed by Hughes Hunter of the 3-2 Montpellier Hurricanes who has 1,400 yards and 14 TDs. Luke Casey of the St. Ouen l’Aumône Cougars is still third with 894 yards while Grenoble Centaures pivot Sonny Weishaupt is fourth with 804 yards. Rouen Leopards QB Caleb Bedford rounds out the top five with 803 yards.

Rushing

Thonon’s Clark Evans still leads all rushers after a monster rushing day in Thonon’s huge 68-14 win over the Montpellier Hurricanes. He rushed for 235 yards and 3 TDs and now has 526 yards and a league best 7 TDs.. His teammate, Kasper Wedberg ran for 119 yards in that game and is now 2nd with 259 yards rushing. Luke Casey from the Saint-Ouen Cougars is now 3rd with 259 yards rushing and 5 TDs. Amiens Spartiates Darius Dawsey still has 244 yards and remains 4th. Meril Paul Zero of the Panthers climbed up onto the charts and now has 233 yards, good for 5th.

Receiving

 

Montpellier Hurricanes WR Quentin Gramage had 172 yards receiving in the loss to the Thonon Black Panthers and leads all receivers with 666 yards and 8 TDs.  Aix-en-Provence WR Troy Rice has climbed up into 2nd with a total of 417 yards while Nicolas Cremer of the Rouen Leopards is now3rd with 399 yards. Blue Stars WR Hadrien Lynda trails in 4th with 387 yards while his teammate Rudy Dumar is the fifth leading receiver in the league with 352 yards and 4 TDs.
