The NFL Pro Bowl Stage Set

There is only one opportunity for fans to watch an NFL match this weekend: the 2020 Pro Bowl, which will be played on Sunday. It might not have much at stake because it is a playoff matchup, but the Pro Bowl is still an excellent way to enjoy some of the top NFL stars in action for the last time before the offseason.

This year’s Pro Bowl is a nail-biting encounter filled with talented players. The players selected from San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs, however, will not be involved. This is because of the upcoming Super Bowl set for 2nd February. Bruce Smith and Terrell Davis will serve as the legends captains for a start studded AFC team, which will be spearheaded by attacking maestro Baltimore Ravens head coach, John Harbaugh. Their opponents for the night, NFC will have legendary captains Darrell Green and Michael Vick and the Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll leading the pack.

The 2020 NFL Pro Bowl is set to start at 3 PM ET and will be held at iconic Camping World Stadium in Orlando. This will mark the 51st time the Pro Bowl match is played. Since 2010, the Pro Bowl has been predominantly held at the Aloha Stadium in Hawaii, safe for a few seasons when it was moved to the respective Super Bowl site. No matter the venue, you are ensured another beautiful day of NFL action. You should, therefore, reserve your Pro Bowl tickets today by checking the relevant online ticket sellers.

Sunday’s Pro Bowl will see some of the top players clash. Jarvis Landry of Cleveland Browns is well known as being one of the most excellent NFL wide receivers, and it is expected that he will change fortunes for the AFC side on Sunday. Their opponents have a strong lineup consisting of big names in the NFL. Michael Vick, the legendary quarterback, is set to make things tough for AFC. Lamar Jackson of Baltimore Ravens, Deshaun Watson from Houston Texans, and Courtland Sutton of Denver Broncos are some of the experienced players expected to entertain the crowds.

While the skills competition is still a work in progress, the event has resulted in fan-favorite games like dodgeball. Return of precision passing is also one of the activities fans are crazy about. As always, the skills showdown participants are elementary. Each team will feature ten all-star players: one running back, two quarterbacks, three wide receivers defensive backs and tight ends, three linebackers, and one coach’s choice. The event is set for Thursday 23rd and will be held at The Stadium, ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida.

Several events have been set for Thursday’s Pro Bowl Skills Competition, as stated by the NFL. First will be ‘Thread the Needle,’ a new challenge that places defensive backs to test in a head-to-head competition. The defensive backs will try to stop the attacking team’s quarterback from completing passes through their targets. Gridiron Gauntlet is another event slotted for Thursday. This event will see five players from each team participate in a head-to-head relay race that is meant to showcase speed, strength, and agility. Competitions include a fumble scramble through an inflatable path, springs, among others.

Additionally, the ‘Best Hands’ event will be on the cards too. This is an activity that two WR-QB duos from either of the conference compete in a timed relay race to catch a series of passes from the downfield targets as quickly as possible. The designated targets will require a specified style of catch, diving, and one-handed throws, which must be executed before the receiver can move to the next destination.
