Ukraine: Vinnytsia Wolves sign RB Malcolm Gasque

The Vinnytsia Wolves of Ukraine have signed running back Malcolm Gasque to their 2022 roster. The veteran playmaker joins a Wolves team looking to make a run at the title after qualifying for the playoffs in 2021.

“I decided to sign to the Wolves because coach Dale Heffron is an amazing coach and I wanted to be a part of what he is building in Ukraine. I love the team and they play together and motivate each other and they want to win. I also believe the Wolves would be a great fit for me because I love to motivate and win to and I love to be a part of a team that’s like a family”

The 5’8″, 200 pound 29-year-old Gasque is most recently suited up in Ukraine for the Kyiv Slavs. Before bursting on the Ukrainian football scene, the Baltimore native has had many stops in his international career. Since 2015, he has competed in Portugal (Lisbon Devils), Brazil, France, Poland, Turkey, and Belgium.

After graduating from Orange Coast Community College in 2015, Gasque took his talents to Portugal where he helped the Devils to an 11-0 record and their first Portuguese championship. Shortly thereafter, the Marylander appeared in Poland and Turkey. Gasque made headlines in Brazil with the Sao Paulo Storm where he was ranked the eighth best player in the leagues. He then finished his 2018 and 2019 season with the Iron Mask of Cannes, France where he led the team in rushing. In 2020 the running back was a key player in the Belgian Football League, before the pandemic cut his time with the Mons Knights short.

Off the field, the running back is deeply involved in his hometown community, coaching in Baltimore’s youth football leagues.

Malcolm Gasque describes himself to be a man on a mission:

“I want to grow the game and spread a positive message throughout the football community.”
