Watch Exciting Video: The Top Plays Of Past Two Weeks From The German Football League

As Germany’s top American football league, the GFL (German Football League), heads into the final round of games for the 2016 season, let’s take a look back at the top plays from the past two weekends.

Top 8 Plays from August 28/29

The top rated game between the Dresden Monarchs and Braunschweig New Yorker Lions, which ended in a 38-38 tie, featured plenty of highlights and two of them are shown here. Dresden Monarch running back Donald Russell explodes off of a broken play for a 68 yard scamper. Meanwhile, Lions quarterback Casey Therriault connects with receiver Evan Landi for a 35 yard touchdown strike.

The Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns game with the Munich Cowboys produced two great highlights presented here while the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes game against the Hildesheim Invaders featured the amazing running of Chris McClendon. McClendon takes off on a 95 yard touchdown run in a rout of the Invaders here in a game in which he rushed for an incredible 392 yards.

Top 3 Plays from August 20/21.

Although only three plays are featured all are outstanding and the top play is spectacular. Saarland Hurricanes running back Corey Brown was in “Beast Mode” as he breaks five tackles on his way to a 50 yard touchdown run against the Munich Cowboys.
