Who to Back? Super Bowl LIII Odds for Every NFL Team

The nature of the best teams in football is to always look ahead to the next chance of victory. You can take a guess that the likes of Nick Foles, Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Doug Pederson have all but forgotten about the highs and lows of Super Bowl LII and are already thinking ahead to next season.

Despite the fact that there will be plenty of changes to rosters and coaching staff before the Kickoff Game on 6th September, each team has still been priced up by major bookmakers. Below are the latest odds for every team provided by William Hill, who are a good choice for NFL betting. You can also get the William Hill latest free bet to use for the NFL this season.

So what do the early odds say about the season ahead? Below are some thoughts on the betting picture for the 2018 NFL season.

Patriots are much too short to win another Super Bowl

Most football fans would agree that the Patriots are a very good, even historically good, team. While they deserve to be regarded among the favourites for the Super Bowl, they really shouldn’t be half the odds of the next best team. Brady and Belichick form a formidable partnership of course, but their era of dominance could end sooner rather than later.

All-Pennsylvania Super Bowl a big possibility

There is a lot to like about the chances of the reigning champions, Philadelphia Eagles, and their state rivals Pittsburgh Steelers. Both teams look really likely to go deep into the post season this year and there is a not so remote possibility that they could meet in the Super Bowl.

Texan teams look to offer some nice value

Away from the outright favourites, a couple of teams from Texas might be tempting some punters. The Dallas Cowboys may be the most valuable football team in the world, but they have not matched that with results on the field in recent years. Getting the most out of Dak Prescott is a must for success. The Houston Texans, ravaged by injuries last season, are just a couple of acquisitions away from being a very good team. Keep an eye on them.

Nobody is liking New York and Chicago at the moment

The Bills, Giants and Jets are all really unfancied to succeed this season. That has been reflected in their odds. A lot of business will have to happen in the offseason for that to change. Still, none of them are as unfancied as the Chicago Bears with those massive 200/1 odds.
