Serbia: Kragujevac Wild Boars score 42 2nd half points; rout Jagodina Black Hornets

The 5-0 Kragujevac Wild Boars ended any arguments about who is the top team in Serbia after they demolished the previously undefeated Jagodina Black Hornets 67-27 in Serbian American Football League action.

It took them over a half of football to get untracked though. The Black Hornets took a 27-25 lead early in the third quarter only to watch as Kragujevac scored six unanswered touchdowns to turn tight game into a complete rout.

Quarterback Dalton Oliver threw eight touchdown passes in a sparkling performance for the Wild Boars. Stefan Djuric caught three of those passes while Strahinja Stepovic caught two and Filip Nedeljkovi, Milorad Zivkovic and Joshua Quezada caught one each. Stepovic also scored on a 44 yard punt return while Rafael da Cruz scored the final touchdown of the game on an interception.

Jagodina quarterback Austin Stubbs threw four touchdown passes and had his team in the lead for much of the first half and part of the second before the Wild Boars defense stiffened. Bogdan Pavlovic hauled in three of those touchdown passes while Anthony Ratliff caught the fourth in the third quarter.

The Black Hornets held leads of 7-0, 13-6, 20-12 and 27-20 before the Wild Boars finally took charge of the game early in the second half.

Kragujevac now sits alone atop the standings in the Serbian standings  with a record of 5-0 with one game left in the regular season.
