Finland announces final 46 man roster for IFAF 2019 U19 European Championships
The Finnish U19 national team, Team Finland, has announced its final 46 man roster as they prepare to leave for the IFAF 2019 U19 European Championships being held in Bologna, Italy from July 29 to August 4.
Team Finland head coach Tero Virtanen has submitted his final man roster for the tournament. Coach Virtanen, who coached Finland to the silver medal in the 2018 Nordic championships, has wound up the team’s final training camp. Roughly 35 players from the Nordic championship silver medal team have made the roster.
The Finnish national team won the first three U19 European Championships, 1992, 1994 and 1996, finished third in 1998 and took fourth in 2000.
