CFL: ROURKE, RHYMES, WALL NAMED WEEK 9 TOP PERFORMERS

TORONTO — Nathan Rourke, Dominque Rhymes and Titus Wall are the Canadian Football League (CFL)’s Top Performers for Week 9 of the 2022 season.
The three players were chosen by a panel of judges made up of Matt Dunigan and Marshall Ferguson of TSN, and Pierre Vercheval of RDS, who independently send their selections to the CFL league office.
QB | NATHAN ROURKE | BC LIONS
- Career-high – and new Canadian single-game passing record – 477 yards
- 34-of-37 passing (91.2 per cent – a new CFL record) and five touchdown passes
- 25 rushing yards on five carries and his fifth rushing major of 2022
- Fourth game of 300+ passing yards and second for 400+
- Leads the league in passing yards (2,418), passing touchdowns (21) and completion percentage (81.3 per cent)
- Fourth Top Performer of the Week honour (Weeks 1, 3 and 8)

- Nine receptions for 91 yards (10.1-yard average), career-high three touchdowns
- Four second down conversion receptions
- New personal-best of eight touchdown receptions
- Leads team with 582 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, second in receptions (38)
- Highlights:
DB | TITUS WALL | CALGARY STAMPEDERS
- Two interceptions and a touchdown
- Returned first interception for a 46-yard touchdown
- First career multi-interception game
- Five defensive tackles and one special teams tackle
- 2022 rookie season: three interceptions (tied for first), 30 defensive tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and two touchdowns
