ELF: Paris Football Team adds young talent in offensive lineman Celestin Ngimbi

The Paris Football Team of the European League of Football have signed promising young offensive lineman Celestin Ngimbi for the 2023 season.

The 6’2 300-lb offensive lineman was named as a top young player to watch by the league during the 2022 season. The Spanish talent is coming off of a solid season as a starter at center for the semi-finalist Barcelona Dragons.

The large 20-year-old first came on the American football scene as a member of the 2021 Osos Rivas, before joining the Dragons in their first season. This past year he pulled double duty once again, playing for the Madrid-based Osos Rivas and then helping the Dragons make their post-season run in the ELF.

Ngimbi is the latest former Barcelona Dragon to sign with Paris as he joins teammates Zach Edwards (QB), Kyle Sweet (WR), and Edwin Elio (DT).

Ngimbi joins a veteran offensive line as Paris has already added Mamoudou Doumbouya and NFL IPP prospect Fabian Kratz. Paris’s big boys upfront will look to protect star quarterback Zach Edwards, a task Ngimbi has already handled well for two seasons.
