Nordic Storm lock down Danish tight end Oliver Tribler for 2026 campaign
The Nordic Storm have secured a key offensive weapon for the 2026 season, re-signing versatile Danish tight end Oliver Tribler.
The 6-3, 256 pound, 28-year-old from Copenhagen brings a wealth of experience from top leagues across Europe, including recent stints in Germany and Austria.
Proven production
Tribler has consistently produced wherever he’s played. During his 2023 season with the Dresden Monarchs in the German Football League, he caught 26 passes for 305 yards and three touchdowns across 13 games, demonstrating reliable hands with a 79% catch rate. He followed that with a brief but efficient 2024 stint for the Swarco Raiders in Austria, where he scored three touchdowns on just 17 catches in only four games played.
Championship pedigree
Beyond his individual stats, Tribler brings a winning mentality to the Nordic Storm. He won back-to-back Danish championships with the Copenhagen Towers in 2021 and 2022, added another title with them in 2024, and reached the GFL semifinals with Dresden in 2023. His ability to contribute at tight end, fullback, and long snapper makes him an invaluable Swiss Army knife for the Storm’s offensive schemes as they build toward the 2026 season.
