Watch Live: Feature Game In Italy – Bergamo Lions v. Milano Seamen

The Bergamo Lions under new head coach Adam Rita will renew its rivalry with the Milano Seamen Sunday is a highly anticipated game in Italy this weekend.

The Lions recorded their only win of the 2016 season against the Seamen. Bergamo handed Milano a 32-20 defeat at home.

The Lions struggled through 1-9 season in 2016 and although they dropped their opening game to the Lazio Marines last week, they are entering this one with some confidence.

Coach Rita will be hoping his team can do the same to avoid opening the season with two losses. The Seamen on the other hand disposed of the Roma Grizzlies in Milan easily beating them 41-6.

The Lions are led by quarterback Giorgio Bryant who had a hugely successful season in Brazil with the Vila Velha Tritoes and also played for Poland’s Warsaw Sharks and the Curtain Saints in Australia. Milano signed veteran European-American quarterback Luke Zahradka who spent the 2015 season with the Ancona Dolphins. Zahradka obtained his Italian passport which enabled him to play for the Italian national team in their successful drive in the European championship qualification tournament.
