LIVESTREAM: Denmark – Odense Badgers @Frederikssund Oaks, Sunday, May 5, 2p CEDT (8a EDT)

The Odense Badgers (0-2) and Frederikssund Oaks (0-2), the only two winless teams left in Denmark’s National League, go head to head Sunday May 5 is a must-win game for both teams.

The Oaks opened the season losing to the Copenhagen Towers 42-7 and followed that up with a 33-14 defeat at the hands of the Triangle Razorbacks. Odense were blanked 39-0 by the Aarhus Tigers and beaten 62-14 by the Sollerod Gold Diggers.

The Oaks, who finished their very first season in Denmark’s top league with a 3-7 record, have added QB Aaron Ellis (University of St. Francis) and with their other two imports, linebacker Isiah Carter from the University of Southern Oregon and defensive lineman Darion Simmons from McKendree University, they could have an edge.

Odense is new to the top league in Denmark this season having won the Danish division 2 title. The team has a pair of imports including Jawaugn Arnold, a 6’5″, 300 lb offensive lineman who played for the Badgers in 2018. Arnold has also played for Sweden’s Orebro Black Knights(2016) and the La Courneuve Flash in France where he helped them win the French championship. Odense also has also RB Raymond Bradley (Iowa State) who has spent the past three season playing in Brazil for the Bulls Portiguars, Porto Alegre Pumpkinsand UFERSA Petroleiros.

This promises to be an exciting matchup.
