AFI TV features busiest football weekend of the year

AFI TV kicks off its busiest weekend of the year with eight games on the schedule as the season in Poland gets underway while Spain and Italy continue with action both days.

In Poland, the Silesia Rebels will host the Krakow Kings while Italy will feature three games on the second weekend of play, and Spain four as the Spanish League of American Football winds up the regular season.

Saturday, April 17

The weekend starts off with the Tychy Falcons hosting the Warsaw Eagles in Polish league play at 14:00 CET (2 pm)(08:00 am ET).

This game will now not be shown on AFI TV.

The Gijon Mariners (0-7) will play host to the Zaragoza Hurricanes (3-4) in the final game of the season for both teams on Saturday, April 17 at 16:00 CET (4 pm)(10:00 am ET).

The Murcia Cobras (1-6) will take on the 5-2 Osos Rivas in their final game of the regular season in Spain on April 17 at 17:00 CET (5 pm)(11:00 am ET).

The Lazio Ducks (0-1) will visit the Bologna Warriors (0-1) on Saturday, April 17 as Italy’s Division 1 heads into its second weekend of play. Kick off is 19:00 CET (7 pm)(1 pm ET)

Sunday, April 18

In a clash of the top two teams in the Spanish League of American Football, the unbeaten Las Rozas Black Demons will travel to Barcelona to play the Badalona Dracs, Sunday, April 18 at 11:00 am CET)(05:00 am ET)

The Mallorca Voltors (4-3) will play the Fuengirola Potros (2-5) in the final game of the Spanish regular season, Saturday, April 18 at 12 noon CET (06:00 am ET)

In the opening game of the Polish season, the Krakow Kings will be the visitors in a game with the Silesia Rebels on Sunday, April 18 at 14:00 CET (2 pm)(08:00 am ET).

The final game of the weekend features the Parma Panthers (1-0) playing host to the Milano Rhinos (1-0) in Italy’s Division 1 on Sunday, April 18 at 15:00 CET (3 pm)(09:00 am ET).
