Trick Play on Kick Off Goes For Touchdown in Brazil
Brazilian American football team, Vila Velha Tritões, playing in the semi-pro Torneio Touchdown league, pulled a fast one on the opening kick off return.
During the national quarter-finals match between the Vila Velha Tritões and the Botafogo Reptiles, kick returner Lucas “Flash” Moreira and five of his Tritões teammates received the kick off and quickly huddled on their own 15-yard line.
A moment later the huddle breaks and the Reptiles coverage squad is scrambling looking for the ball carrier.
Moreira, with the ball, tears up the sideline going the full distance for the touchdown.
Great play by Moreira & the Tritões, but unfortunately they lost the game 28-33.
See blow the another recent hidden ball play from Indiana State University that the Tritões used as inspiration for this particular play.
