Spain: Black Demons dominate Gijón Mariners to stay perfect

The Las Rozas Black Demons (4–0) continued their unbeaten run through the Spanish LNFA, overwhelming the Gijón Mariners (0–4–1) 48–6 in a performance that showcased both their explosive offense and relentless consistency.

Mariners show early fight
Gijón competed effectively in the opening phases, moving the ball with purpose and answering an early Black Demons touchdown with a impressive deep connection from quarterback Justin Agner to receiver Raul Garcia Caldero to make it 14–6. The Mariners’ defense initially held strong against the reigning champions, keeping the game within reach through much of the first half.

Black Demons unleash second-quarter explosion
The game turned decisively late in the second quarter when Las Rozas erupted for three touchdowns in rapid succession. Running back Gonzalo Haro broke loose for a spectacular touchdown run, followed by two scoring passes from quarterback Diego Lliteras to Marcos de la Mata and Sebastian Bowen. The 21-point outburst stretched the lead to 35–6 by halftime and effectively ended the contest.

Champions depth too much
Las Rozas continued to add to their lead after halftime with de la Mata scoring again and Lliteras adding a rushing touchdown to cap his outstanding performance. While Gijón maintained competitiveness throughout, the Black Demons’ offensive firepower and balanced attack proved overwhelming. The victory maintains Las Rozas’ position atop the standings as the clear team to beat in the LNFA.
