Austria: Graz Giants re-sign Darrell Adams Jr.

The Graz Giants have re-signed the best receiver in the Austrian Football League (AFL), Darrell Adams Jr.

Before finding his way to Austria the 6’3″, 225-pound receiver played his college ball at Azusa Pacific (NCAA DII) where in his three seasons he caught 75 passes for 1,132 yards and nine touchdowns.

The Giants reached the playoffs in 2021 but were eliminated by the Dacia Vienna Vikings 21-18. Adams was the league’s leading receiver with 40 receptions for 823 yards and 11 touchdowns in just eight games and in the semifinals had three receptions for 95 yards and a score.

This year he will return to an Austrian league without the two powerhouse teams, the Swarco Raiders and Vienna Vikings who have moved on to the European League of Football, in the hope of helping Graz capture the Austrian title.
