Białystok Lowlanders roll past Katy Wroclawskie Jaguars to reach Polish Football League semifinals

The fifth-seeded Białystok Lowlanders delivered one of the biggest statements of the Polish Football League quarterfinals, cruising past the fourth-seeded Katy Wroclawskie Jaguars 41-14 to earn a spot in the semifinals.

The final score may have surprised some, but the Lowlanders took control from the opening series and never allowed the high-powered Jaguars offense to find its rhythm.

Lowlanders seize control

Białystok struck quickly when Brett Pullman connected with Bernardo Horevitch on a 60-yard scoring pass. Pullman added a two-yard keeper later in the opening quarter, giving the visitors a 14-0 lead.

The momentum never shifted in the second quarter. Pullman reached the end zone again from two yards out before Tomasz Kropiewnicki capped another sustained drive with his own two-yard score. By halftime, the Lowlanders had built a commanding 28-0 advantage.

Strong finish seals it

The Lowlanders continued to dictate the pace after halftime. Szymon Kazberuk added another short touchdown to stretch the lead to 35-0 before Pullman and Horevitch hooked up for the second time, this time on a 63-yard scoring play that made it 41-0.

The Jaguars finally found some success in the fourth quarter behind Daniel Bender, who broke loose for touchdown runs of 68 yards on consecutive scoring drives. The first was followed by a successful two-point conversion from Konrad Stępień to Aleksander Polaczek, but the late burst came far too late to threaten the outcome.

Pullman finished with four touchdowns, throwing two scoring passes to Horevitch while adding two rushing touchdowns of his own. Kropiewnicki and Kazberuk each contributed a rushing score as the Lowlanders controlled the game on the ground and through the air.

The victory also marked another milestone for Białystok, as the club has now reached the Polish Football League semifinals for the 12th straight season. Meanwhile, Katy Wroclawskie saw an impressive campaign come to an end after finishing the regular season with a 6-2 record and the league’s highest-scoring offense.
