BNL – Rotterdam Trojans sign former RB Le’Anthony Reasnover as new HC

The Rotterdam Trojans have announced that they have signed former running back Le’Anthony Reasnover as their new head coach for the 2024 BNL league season.

The 26 year old native of St. Anne, Illinois spent three and a half seasons with the Kuopio Steelers in Finland’s Maple League helping them win two of their three consecutive titles. In 2022, the Steelers won Maple Bowl XLIII, beating the Seinäjoki Crocodiles for their third straight championship. After joining Kuopio in 2021, Reasnover amassed 3,474 rushing yards and 51 touchdowns on 435 attempts, earning a rushing title, two touchdown scoring titles, an MVP award and back-to-back championships.

The 5’9″, 209-pound running back extended his stellar play from the previous year, rushing for a league high 1,763 yards and 30 touchdowns, averaging 146.9 yards per game, and winning multiple awards including the scoring title, offensive player of the year award and MVP honors.

Before arriving in Finland, he played collegiately at Eureka College (Div. III) from 2015-2019 where he rushed for over 6,000 yards, scoring 99 touchdowns and was twice named AFCA All-American, Offensive Player of the Year and was the statistical champion in 2018. Eureka was dominant with him on the field too, as the college won their conference in both 2017 and 2018.

The BNL league kicks off March 9.
