HOAX: Chad Johnson Headed to France to Play in 2015 – (Fake Story!)

| American Football | 11/01/2014

The announcement by the Amiens Spartiates of the French second division that they had signed six-time NFL Pro Bowl receiver Chad Johnson for the 2015 season is fake, by the club’s own admission. The story appeared on the Spartiates Facebook page.

The information posted on a club’s Facebook page is typically accurate and factual. This time we were wrong.

You can read the full, original transcript of the claim here (in French) via our friends at footballamericain.com.

We are sorry.
