Czech Snapbacks League: Vysocina Gladiators edge Nitra Knights in thrilling matchup

In an exciting clash, the Vysocina Gladiators (2-0) edged the Nitra Knights (1-1) 21-14 in Czech Snapbacks League second round action. The Gladiators showcased their determination and skill, overcoming a challenging second half to secure their unbeaten record.

Gladiators Strike First
The Gladiators opened the contest driving into the Knights’ territory, but they stalled on a fourth-down attempt. Nitra had a chance to score first, but a touchdown by Kúdela was nullified after a video review revealed a penalty. The first points of the game came late in the first quarter when Matěj Majerčák caught a touchdown pass from Vít Bezecný, giving the Gladiators a 7-0 lead.

Knights rally back
The momentum shifted in the second and third quarters as the Knights found their rhythm. Quarterback Desmond Prusia connected with Mario Bíra for two touchdowns, allowing Nitra to take a 14-7 lead. A short punt gave the Gladiators excellent field position, and Heard capitalized with a 23-yard touchdown, extending their lead to 21-14.
