Czech stats leaders dominated by two teams

The Czech League of American Football enters the home stretch and the stats leaders pretty much reflect the league standings.

Interestingly, the Prague Lions and Vysocina Gladiators dominate the receiving stats with two players each among the Top 5.

As a result, the Lions and Gladiators have four players each in the three Top 5 categories while the Pardubice Stallions and Brno Sigrs have two apiece.  The Brno Alligators, Pilsen Patriots and Usti nad Labem Blades each have one. The only team without representation are the Ostrava Steelers.

Passing

Pardubice Stallions QB Raymond Catapano tops the passing yardage list with 1,777 yards and 23 TDs. Right behind in 2nd is Michael Hayes of the Prague Lions who has 1,740 yards and 24 TDs. The 3rd place QB in the league is Reginald Langford of the Vysocina Gladiators with 1,654 yards and 24 TDs. Brno Alligators QB Tomas Fortelny is 4th and has 1,360 yards while Wesley Geisler of the Brno Sigr is 5th with 1,294 yards.

Rushing

Pilsen Patriots RB Ryan Pahos is the leading rusher in the Czech league with 598 yards and 7 TDs in seven games. Jakub Imr of the Ústí n.Labem Blades is in 2nd place with 499 yards. Prague Lions QB Michael Hayes is 3rd with 456 yards while Reginald Langford is 4th with 447 yards and a league-best 8 TDs. Sigrs QB Wesley Geisler is 5th wtih 408 yards.

Receiving

Pardubice Stallions WR Jan Horacek is the leading receiver in the Czech league with 539 yards and 8 TDs in 7 games. Next is Josh Purdie of the Vysocina Gladiators with 448 yards while Prague Lions WR Marek Suchy is 3rd with 431. Gladiators WR David Calta is 4th and has 430 while Archie Stevens of the Lions is 5th with 425.
