Dresden Monarchs add NFL pedigree with signing of Montigo Moss

The Dresden Monarchs, fresh off a 2025 German Football League championship appearance, have made a splash by signing wide receiver Montigo Moss—son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss—for the 2026 season.

A proven college performer
Montigo Moss brings solid college production to Dresden, coming off a strong senior year at the University of Maine where he recorded 61 receptions for 722 yards and 7 touchdowns. Over his 46-game collegiate career, he hauled in 143 passes for 1,692 yards and 16 touchdowns, proving himself as a dependable and productive target.

Seeking his own path
After going undrafted in the 2025 NFL DraftMontigo attended the Minnesota Vikings rookie minicamp but did not secure a contract. Now, he looks to make his mark in the GFL with a Monarchs team eager to return to the title game after falling just short against the Potsdam Royals in 2025.

A new weapon in Dresden
At 6’1″ and 220 pounds, Moss offers a physical presence and polished route-running that should translate well to the European game. His signing adds depth and talent to a Monarchs offense looking to take the final step toward a German Football League championship.
