EFA names Frank Kristensen Head of Officiating

The European Football Alliance (EFA) has appointed Frank Kristensen as its new Head of Officiating, bringing decades of elite experience to oversee the league’s refereeing standards.

Veteran leadership
Kristensen brings over three decades of high-level officiating experience to the role, including 115 international games and five World Championship Finals. His background also includes NCAA experience with 23 college games in California, along with serving as former IFAF Coordinator of Officials and working 46 games in the ELF.

Immediate impact
Kristensen begins work immediately, focusing on developing the EFA‘s 2026 officiating structure. His extensive international experience and proven track record at the highest levels of football make him ideally suited to ensure consistency and competence in European officiating moving forward.
