ELF: Istanbul Rams sign Swedish national team DB Noah Allsten

The Istanbul Rams of the European League of Football have announced the signing of Swedish national team defensive back Noah Allsten.

The 20 year old, 6’1″, 196 pound native of Arkelstorp, Sweden recently was the starting cornerback for Team Sweden in the IFAF European Championship title game. He spent the 2020 season playing for the Uppsala 86ers in Sweden’s top league and from 2017 to 2020 attended the RIG American Football Academy in Sweden.

“Noah has great potential; he’s gone up against some top level receivers and held his own very well. In ELF, he’ll have the chance to match up against stiff competition week in and week out. I believe he will be a really tough defender for us.”

For Allsten, this presents an excellent opportunity with an organization and coach he is impressed with:

“The decision to join the Rams was easy, I know that coach Gunn is an excellent coach and the coaching stab he’s put together is truly amazing. I’m really excited to get down to Istanbul and start this journey together with all of my teammates. And to be able to play on such a high level in Europe is truly a blessing.”
