ELF: Raiders Tirol re-sign former MVP WR Philipp Haun

The Raiders Tirol have re-signed former Austrian Football League MVP Philipp Haun for the 2024 European League of Football season.

Haun originally joined the Raiders in 2022 and in the last two seasons, the 29-year-old receiver has contributed heavily to the Raiders offense. Through 24 games, Haun had 92 receptions for 1,221 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Before his time in the ELF with the Raiders, the 5’11” 185-pound native of Klosterneuburg, Austria spent six seasons in the Austrian Football League with the Danube Dragons. Haun was a staple for the team earning the league MVP award in 2021.

During his final three seasons as a Dragon, he was on a tear recording 154 receptions for 2,569 receiving yards, and 30 touchdowns for Danube. Haun was also a leader for the Dragons program winning team MVP honors in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2021. The veteran wideout has also played on the Austrian National Team since 2017.
