German Football League marches into 2nd week of the season with 4 livestreaming games to choose from

The German Football League heads into Week #2 of the 2024 season with 10 of the GFL’s 17 teams in action.

The defending champion Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns (1-0) are coming off a thrilling come-from-behind 58-57 victory over the Allgäu Comets last weekend and will be on the road to face the Kirchdorf Wildcats who are playing their first game of the season. This is Kirchdorf’s first game back in the league since 2019. The Paderborn Dolphins who were trounced 38-7 by the Dresden Monarchs last week, will try to get a win at home when they face the Braunschweig New Yorker Lions who were upset 28-14 by the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes. The Berlin Rebels open their 2024 season at home when they face the Saarland Hurricanes who are also playing their first game of the year. These two teams faced each other once in 2023 with Saarland getting a 44-28 home win. The Berlin Adler will also open the season with a home game when they host the Hildesheim Invaders. The Invaders suffered a lopsided 56-21 loss to the defending champion Potsdam Royals in their first game last week. Finally on Sunday, the Ravensburg Razorbacks and Allgäu Comets will clash in the Comets home stadium. Allgäu lost a nail biter to the Unicorns and will likely be looking to take their revenge out on the Razorbacks. Ravensburg lost both games to the Comets in 2023.
