Hamilton Tiger-Cats add 2022 Global Draft pick, Australian punter Bailey Flint

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have announced the signing of their top pick from the 2022 Global Draft, Australian punter Bailey Flint.

The 26 year old Flint from Melbourne, Australia, was selected by the Tiger-Cats in the first round, second overall in the 2022 CFL Global Draft.

The six-foot-four, 210-pound strong-legged punter most recently spent time with the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers after spending his collegiate career at the University of Toledo. Flint played 49 games over five seasons with the Rockets (2017-2021), totaling 209 punts for 8,426 yards (40.3 yards per punt) with a career long of 72 yards. The two-time Ray Guy award nominee (as college football’s most outstanding punter – 2020, 2021) posted 82 punts inside the 20 and had 33 punts of 50 yards or more.
