A History of CFL v. NFL Exhibition Games

This is a fascinating account of a piece of football history that most people were unaware of. The NFL and CFL have a history of playing exhibition games against each dating all the way back to 1941.

Although the two games developed in parallel with different rules and field sizes, the basis of the games is still more or less the same and the teams found ways of playing against each other.

3DownNation is a website dedicated to covering the CFL and Canadian football. Founded in 2015 by veteran CFL writer Drew Edwards while reporting for the Hamilton Spectator and initially the property of the Torstar corporation, ownership of the
