Leading TD scorers in Poland’s Liga Futbolu Amerykańskiego as regular season ends

The Polish Liga Futbolu Amerykańskiego wound up the regular season this past weekend and with the scheduled for the weekend of October 31.

The Wroclaw Panthers have dominated the offensive stats leader boards and after scoring 261 points during the five game regular season, it’s no wonder. However, the rushing race boiled down to two outstanding running backs – Glen Toonga of the Bialystok Lowlanders and Ryan Tuiasoa of the Panthers – with Toonga outlasting the Hawaiian in the end.

Passing touchdowns

Panthers quarterback Bartek Dziedzic, the only Polish quarterback on the list, topped the touchdown passing list having thrown 16 touchdown passes. Behind him, Tychy Falcons German quarterback Niklas Gorny tossed 9 scoring passes while Brandon Gwinner of the Bialystok Lowlanders, who played in four games, threw 6. Silesia Rebels QB Ashley Bailey finished 4th with 5 TD passes while Dustin Hawke Willingham of the Bydgoszcz Archers was the 5th leading TD passer with 4 TDs.

Rushing touchdowns

Glen Toonga of the Bialystok Lowlanders led the touchdown scoring list the entire season but Wroclaw Panthers RB Ryan Tuiasoa made it close. Toonga wound up with 11 rushing TDs with Tuiasoa climbing to within one with 10. Strangely, they were the only two running backs among the top five. Ashley Bailey of the Rebels finished 3rd with 5, tied with Lowlanders QB Brandon Gwinner. TJ Richardson, quarterback for the Warsaw Mets scored three rushing touchdowns in the final game of the year, his only three of the season, to climb up to 5th spot.

Receiving touchdowns

Wroclaw Panthers WR Wictor Zieba was clearly the favorite target of QB Bartek Dziedzic hauling in half of the touchdowns the Panthers scored through the air, 8, leading the entire league. Rafal Krolewski of the Lowlanders wound up 2nd with 4 TD receptions while there were a number of receivers with two TD catches each including Dominik Niedziela of the Falcons, Rebels WR Devion Young and Bialystok’s Konrad Marianski.
