Team Sweden will face a young Norwegian U17 national team squad in the bronze medal matchup of the 2022 Nordic U17 Championships today, Saturday, October 22 in Vantaa, Finland.

Sweden were the reigning champions heading into the tournament but suffered a tough, but decisive 14-6 loss to a determined Team Denmark on the opening day of the tournament. Team Norway were rudely awakened in their opening round matchup against the host team, Team Finland, who handed them a 47-0 thrashing.
