The host team, Team Finland, will be striving to win their third Nordic U17 gold medal since 2008 when they take on the Danish U17 National Team, Saturday, October 22 in Vantaa, Finland.

Finland manhandled a young Team Norway on the opening day of the tournament, whipping them 47-0, to qualify for the Championship Final. Meanwhile, Team Denmark surprised the defending champions from Sweden, beating them 14-6 in a game which they seemed to control most of the way.
