LIVESTREAM Baltic Bowl VIII: Kaunas Dukes @ Tartu Titans, Oct. 10, 13:00 CET (1 pm, 7 am ET)
The Tartu Titans will defend their Baltic League crown on Saturday, October 10, when they welcome the Kaunas Dukes to Holm Park Stadium in Tartu, Estonia, for Baltic Bowl VIII.
It’s a rematch of last year’s championship, when the Titans dominated the Dukes 40–6. But their 2026 regular-season meeting told a different story, with Tartu needing a score on its final drive to escape with an 18–14 victory.
Titans back on top
The defending champions have wasted little time reestablishing themselves as the team to beat in Baltic football.
After a period of inactivity, the Titans revived their program in 2024 and promptly captured the 2025 Baltic Bowl in their first season back. Now they’re one victory away from making it two championships in two seasons.

Tartu finished atop the regular-season standings and has been particularly ruthless against its other Baltic opponents.
The Titans shut out the Riga Bears 43–0 in May, demolished Klaipėda 54–0 and overwhelmed the Vilnius Iron Wolves 51–0 before crushing Riga 60–0 in the semifinals.
Their only serious challenge came against Kaunas, setting up a championship rematch that promises considerably more drama than last year’s final.
Dukes looking for redemption
The Dukes have put together an impressive campaign of their own, finishing second in the regular season with a 3–1 record.
Their defense has been particularly impressive. Kaunas shut out the Vilnius Iron Wolves 28–0, blanked the Riga Bears 36–0 and dispatched Klaipėda 40–0 during the regular season.
That defensive toughness carried into the playoffs, where the Dukes battled past Vilnius 8–0 to secure their second consecutive Baltic Bowl appearance.
Unlike last year’s lopsided championship game, the teams’ most recent encounter suggests Kaunas has closed the gap considerably.
Everything on the line
For the Titans, victory would cement their remarkable comeback and establish a growing dynasty in Baltic football.
For the Dukes, it’s an opportunity to erase last year’s disappointment, knock off the defending champions on their home turf and capture their first Baltic Bowl title.
After their four-point regular-season thriller, another tight battle could be waiting in Tartu.
