The Birmingham Lions will travel to Wales this Sunday where they will take on the Cardiff Cobras in week 7 of the BUCS Premier division.

The Cobras (1-3) are coming off a huge defeat to the UWE Bullets in week five, falling 54-0 to the Bristol based powerhouse. Despite the scoreline, this result is nothing to be ashamed off as the Bullets have steamrolled through every opponent placed in their path.

Most notably, the Bullets’ second game came against the Lions and saw them take an 82-0 home win.

The Lions, now 1-3, have one just one game this season; they beat the Cobras in their home opener by a scoreline of 27-17.

Cardiff’s lone victory came in an upset against the Portsmouth Destroyers earlier this season where they beat the newly-promoted side 43-26. The game marked the side’s first victory in over a year.

Portsmouth previously beat Birmingham 17-14, showing that this game could truly go either way.
