Offense looks to bounce back

The Wilddogs could receive an important boost with the return of wide receiver Andreas Lehmann, whose availability adds another reliable target to Harris and an offense that already features Theo Michel, Bryan Yankson, Luca Hirschberger and Luca Faschian.

Defensively, the matchup begins with slowing one of the GFL’s most productive passing attacks.

Quarterback Nicholas Semptimphelter leads the league’s starting quarterbacks with a 67 percent completion rate, while Gabriel Boccella has already surpassed 1,000 receiving yards this season. Pressure from Nathan Kalemba and Denis Atilgan up front could be the key to disrupting that connection.

Cowboys seeking road statement

The Cowboys arrive looking to rebound after last week’s 48-10 loss to the unbeaten Dresden Monarchs, a game in which Semptimphelter briefly left with a knee injury before returning later in the contest.
