Stuttgart is coming off of their fourth win in five games after defeating the Kirchdorf Wildcats 31-29 last week. The season had opened with promise with the Scorpions getting a 30-21 win over the Marburg Mercenaries, followed by a 34-7 victory over Kirchdorf and then a 37-30 win over Ingolstadt. However, the Scorpions were brought down to earth with a thud a couple of weeks ago, losing 63-13 to the Schwabisch Hall Unicorns.

Stuttgart QB Michael Eubank has thrown for 1,363 yards in five games. Running back Giacomo De Pauli has rushed for 408 yards in the five games, and also caught 20 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receive Tyler Cooperwood has 28 receptions for 475 yards and seven touchdowns while Luca Faschian caught 21 for 415 and three touchdowns.

The Unicorns enter the game on a 40 game winning streak stretching back to the 2016 German Bowl and have looked just as impressive as ever this year. They whipped their German Bowl opponents and chief rivals the Frankfurt Universe, Europe #4, 31-0 two weeks ago. Prior to that, they have beaten the Marburg Mercenaries 52-9, the Ingolstadt Dukes 24-0,  the Munich Cowboys 35-3, Kirchdorf Wildcats 51-12 and Stuttgart Scorpions 63-13.

Unicorns QB Jadrian Clark is the second most efficient passer in the GFL with a rating of 181.7. He has thrown for 1,400 yards and 18  TDs in the six wins this year. His top receiver so far has been Tyler Rutenbeck with 21 catches for 511 yards and 10 TDs. Behind him in 2nd is Nate Robitaille with 485  yards receiving. As a team, the Unicorns are averaging 145.8 yards a game, third best in the country with RB Maurice Schuele  the top rusher with 290 yards.

Defensively, the Unicorns lead the GFL giving up just six points a game and top the league in yards allowed with 191.8.
