LIVESTREAM NCAA Div. II: Kutztown Golden Bears @ Shippensburg Raiders, Oct. 3, 19:00 CET (7 pm, 1 pm ET)
The Kutztown Golden Bears (4-0, 1-0) take their unbeaten record to Shippensburg Saturday afternoon to face the Shippensburg Raiders (1-3, 0-1) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East matchup at Seth Grove Stadium.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET, 19:00 CEST, with Kutztown, ranked No. 4 by D2Football.com, looking to maintain its perfect start after knocking off previously unbeaten Shepherd 28-18 last weekend.
Golden Bears winning on the ground
The Golden Bears have averaged 41 points and 418.5 yards per game, but their defense has been particularly difficult to run against. Kutztown leads the PSAC in rushing defense, surrendering just 49.5 yards per game.
Running back Craig Miller supplied the difference against Shepherd, rushing for a career-high 136 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Miller is averaging 11.8 yards per attempt this season and was named PSAC East Offensive Athlete of the Week following the performance.

Raiders looking to finish
Shippensburg enters after letting a major opportunity slip away in a 33-31 loss to Bloomsburg. The Raiders built a 21-0 lead late in the first half before the game turned, dropping them to 1-3 and extending their losing streak to two.
Despite the record, the Raiders are averaging 349.8 yards of offense per game, including 247 through the air, giving them a passing attack capable of testing a Kutztown defense that has been far more restrictive against the run.
Kutztown chasing another PSAC crown
The Golden Bears enter as three-time defending PSAC champions and reached the NCAA Division II national semifinals last season after finishing 14-1.
Shippensburg will be looking for a considerably different result from last year’s meeting, when Kutztown rolled to a 49-0 victory.
For the Raiders, Saturday offers an opportunity to derail an unbeaten conference rival. For Kutztown, it is another road test in a season with much larger ambitions.
