Lots of shuffling in Austrian stats leaderboards with one game left

With only one game to go in the Austrian Football League season there has been a lot of shuffling on the stats leaderboards.

The league leaders in two of the four categories have changed with Traun Steelsharks WR Mario Winter taking over top spot in the receiving category and Thomas Schnurrer of the Graz Giants jumping out into the tackling lead. Traun Steelsharks QB John Uribe is still in the lead in passing yardage and Herbert Gamboa of the Prague Black Panthers retains the rushing yardage lead by a sizable margin.

The SonicWall Mödling Rangers and the Projekt Spielberg Graz Giants each have four players among the Top 5 in the four categories while the Prague Black Panthers andASKÖ Traun Steelsharks have three apiece. Behind them, the Dacia Vienna Vikings and Danube Dragons have two each while the Swarco Raiders and Amstetten Thunder have one.

Passing

 John Uribe of the Traun Steelsharks is still the passing yardage leader after a 328 yard performance in a big 49-19 win over the Amstetten Thunder and now has 2,269 yards. Austin Herink of the Dacia Vienna Vikings remains in 2nd with 2,049 yards while Danube Dragons QB Chad Jeffries jumps up to 3rd onto 5th with 1,978 yards.  Swarco Raiders QB Sean Shelton remains 4th with 1,936 yards while Giants QB Jake Kennedy has slid down to 5th with 1,914 yards and a league best 28 TDs.

Receiving

Traun Steelsharks WR Mario Winter has climbed up into 1st after a 105 yard receiving game and now has 825 yards in nine games. SonicWall Mödling Rangers WR, Eugen Sumic lhas dropped into 2nd with 738 yards while Rangers WR Roman Namdar is still 3rd with 727 yards. Philipp Sommer of the Projekt Spielberg Graz Giants holds onto 4th with 707 yards while Danube Dragons WR Phillipp Haun has entered the list in 5th with 669 yards re-enters the list after a monster 4 TD. 177 yard game against the Traun Steelsharks. He now has 632 yards. Finally, Dacia Vienna Vikings WR Bernhard Seikovits has dropped to 5th with 589 yards.

Rushing

Prague Black Panthers RB Herbert Gamboa continues to top the rushing list after gaining  163 yards  in Prague’s 35-0 shutout of the SonicWall Mödling Rangers. He now has 1,137 yards and a league-best 11 TDs. Florian Wegan of the Rangers stays in 2nd place with 844 while Graz Giants RB Alexander Sanz remains in 3rd with 707 yards. Florian Nöhmayr of the Steelsharks has moved up into 4th with 564 yards. Prague QB Dylan Potts is 5th the list  with 563 yards.

Tackles

Graz Giants LB Thomas Schnurrer has now taken over sole possession of first place in the tackling leaderboard with 65 after a seven tackle game against the Swarco Raiders.  Mödling Rangers LB Markus Bernas is now 2nd after leading all  year with his 62.5 tackles. Prague Black Panthers LB Karel Augusta is 3rd with his 44 tackles while Martin Dorner of the Amstetten Thunder stays in 4th spot with 39.5 tackles. Lucky Ogbevoen of the Dacia Vienna Vikings is now 5th with 38.
