Thonon Black Panthers, Milano Rhinos triumph in EFL

The Thonon Black Panthers, behind the tough running of Stephen Yepmo, eked out a 14-13 victory over Germany’s Berlin Adler to advance to the EFL Final against the Milano Rhinos from Italy.

Meanwhile, the Milano Rhinos dominated the injury-depleted Nice Dauphins in Nice, beating them 36-6 and winning their second game in the home and home series, punching their ticket to the EFL Final.

Yepmo rushed for 138 yards and scored both touchdowns for Thonon. A missed extra point was the difference in the game.

In Nice, France, Milano quarterback TJ Pryor threw for two touchdowns and ran one in himself to pace the Rhinos. Running back Giacomo Querzola added two touchdowns as well.

Milano took a 13-6 halftime lead and simply outmanned Nice in the second half who saw starting quarterback James Andrews forced out of the game due to injury.
