The Seamen surprised last year’s finalists, SBB Vukovi Belgrade in Italy defeating them 50-34 while Vukovi dispatched Budapest 42-7 at home in Serbia.

So if the Seamen win this game they advance. If Budapest wins, then the points differential will determine the winner of the conference.

The Seamen looked impressive in the second half against Vukovi on April 16. Belgrade had closed gap to 37-34 when Milano exploded for two more touchdowns to put the game away. Seamen quarterback Garrett Safron threw five touchdown passes in that game.

Hungarian national team quarterback Mark Bencsics leads the Wolves although he struggled against Belgrade’s relentless pass rush in the loss to Vukovi.

Kickoff: Sunday May 29, 2 PM (8 AM EDT)
