PREVIEW and LIVE STREAM: Brazil’s Catarinense Championship on fourth round of regular season
This weekend opens the fourth and penultimate round of Catarinense Championship.
On Saturday, at 1pm ET, Criciúma Miners recives the visit of São José Istepôs. The match will be in the field of Faculty of SATC, in Criciúma.
Miners will explore the running game with full back #38 Big Z and half back #45 Tulipa. The defensive back #11 Da’Ronte Smith will play as quarterback in place of #8 Rogério. The team of Criciúma doesn’t have any chance to advance to the playoffs.
Istepôs are also determined to explore the running attack, the quarterback # 15 Douglas Rodrigues will have beside him the good running back # 46 JP Ramos. The victory gives Istepôs a step of classification to the playoffs.
On Sunday, Timbó Rex duels against Itapema White Sharks, at 2:30pm ET at the Sports Complex of Timbó.
The runner-up of the National League (White Sharks) travels to Timbó for the match against the runner-up Touchdown Tournament (T-Rex). The match marks a beautiful clash between the quarterbacks # 8 Igor Clemes, from Itapema, and # 7 Bassani, from Timbó. It is the first game of the T-Rex at home in the Catarinense Championship and the last game of the White Sharks in this regular season.
