Raiders Tirol bolster defense with versatile linebacker Jordan Greager
The Raiders Tirol have added depth and playmaking ability to their linebacker corps with the signing of Jordan Greager for the 2026 season. The 26-year-old American defender joins the Austrian club after a standout 2025 season with Germany’s Cottbus Crayfish (German Div. 3), where he racked up 111 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, three interceptions, and two forced fumbles in just nine games.
From college to the pros
A graduate of Western Colorado University with a degree in Business Management, Greager brings intelligence and versatility to the field. Originally recruited as a safety before moving to wide receiver and eventually outside linebacker, he has shown an ability to adapt and excel in multiple roles. At 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, he combines solid strength—bench pressing 225 pounds 16 times—with proven production.
A high-motor playmaker
Greager describes himself as a competitor with a “relentless motor and fanatical effort on every play,” traits that were clearly displayed during his dominant season in Germany. His ability to contribute in both pass coverage and run defense makes him an ideal fit for modern European schemes. For the Raiders Tirol, he represents a dependable, high-IQ addition who should immediately compete for snaps and help solidify the heart of their defense.
