Milano Rhinos, Seamen and Bolzano Giants stay unbeaten in Italy

Italy’s defending champion Milano Rhinos won their second straight game this past weekend and continue to look like the team they were a year ago as they march through the schedule in Italy’s 1 Divisione.

Meanwhile, their crosstown rivals the Seamen are looking equally impressive after whipping the Ancona Dolphins as they now turn their attention to the Rhinos for this coming week’s “Derby”..The Bolzano Giants also remain in the hunt with a solid win over the Bergamo Lions.

The Rhinos traveled down the road to Parma and defeated the Panthers 23-15 after a solid performance from the offense and quarterback TJ Pryor. Coach Ault has his team undefeated after two games extending his unbeaten streak since arriving in Italy to 15-0.

The newest team in the league, UTA Pesaro, finally found the win column downing the Roma Grizzlies 26-20. The Grizzlies remain without a victory in the young season.

Torino notched their second win of the year in beating Firenze Guelfi 44-34 to keep pace with the league leaders. The Guelfi are now winless in three games and have given up 120 points, or 40 points a game.
