RIP Kristoffer Green – 1990-2023

It is with great sadness that we report that sudden passing of 32-year-old Danish lineman, Kristoffer Green Niemann-Rasmussen, or Kristoffer Green, who played for the Copenhagen Towers.

Green collapsed at work and could not be revived after suffering from an apparent spontaneous coronary artery dissection.

The native of Copenhagen had recently won the Danish championship game, the Mermaid Bowl, with the Towers, his seventh since 2013, following an undefeated season. Green had been a member of the Towers for the past 17 years and had become a beloved teammate and anchor of the offensive line. He was also the founder and CEO of KNR Enterprise ApS, an architectural and construction firm based in Copenhagen.

He leaves behind his wife and three young children.
