The final game of the season is set in Russia, and it features a truly marquee matchup in the Russian Championship between the St. Petersburg Griffins and the Moscow Patriots.

Last year, they met at the semifinals stage, with the Patriots rallying from a 13-point 4th quarter deficit to win the game 27-26. This year, they split their regular season series, with each side taking the game that they played away.
