Swedish Superserien turns the corner this weekend

The Swedish Superserien heads into the home stretch this weekend with all four teams in action.

The Örebro Black Knights (0-3) take on the unbeaten Stockholm Mean Machines (3-0) at home in Behrn Arena while the Carlstad Crusaders (1-2) head to Stockholm to face the Tyresö Royal Crowns (2-1).

Stockholm Mean Machines (3-0) @ Örebro Black Knights (0-3)

The Örebro Black Knights are coming off a tough 28-21 loss to Carlstad which saw them surrender a 13-0 halftime lead, giving up four third quarter touchdowns, to remain without a win so far this season. The 2021 champions and 2o22 runners up will be battling for their lives against a Mean Machines team that looks formidable and that defeated Örebro 48-12 in the opening game of the season.

Carstad Crusaders (1-2) @ Tyresö Royal Crowns (2-1)

The Royal Crowns had an outstanding day rushing against the Stockholm Mean Machines gaining 244 yards on the ground, but still lost 31-13. They will be facing a Crusaders squad that is the second best rushing team in the league so this will definitely not be an aerial battle. Tyresö won the first game between these two 33-7 but Carlstad has improved since then and this could be the game of the weekend.
