Top 4 teams in Spain set to battle in the LNFA semifinals!

The Spanish National League of American Football, LNFA, semifinals are set for this coming weekend.

The unbeaten Badalona Dracs (8-0), first place finishers in the East division will face the defending champion Las Rozas Black Demons (7-1) who wound up second in the West. Meanwhile, Madrid’s Osos Rivas, who topped the West with a 7-1 record, will play the L’Hospitalet Pioners (5-3) who finished second in the East.

Las Rozas Black Demons @ Badalona Dracs

The Badalona Dracs were overwhelming winners of the East division running through the season undefeated averaging over 43 points a game while surrendering just under 10. The Black Demons, who are reigning champions and the second highest scoring team in Spain, lost just one game, to their opponents in the 2023 title game, the Osos Rivas. With the Dracs’ firepower and home field advantage, the edge in this matchup goes to Badalona.

Sunday, April 21

L’Hospitalet Pioners @ Osos Rivas

Osos Rivas, 2023 finalists, with the stingiest defense in Spain, will play host to a Pioners squad that was the most improved team in the league this year. Osos finished first in the West after beating arch rivals the Black Demons late in the year. L’Hospitalet will have a tough time of it against an Osos Rivas team that has reached the final two years in a row and won the title in 2022.
