Vienna Vikings Sending 6 Junior Players to USA Schools for 2016-2017 Season

Six Vienna Vikings Academy Players are spending a year abroad to study and to play Football in 2016/17.

After sending four Academy Athletes to the US for the 2015-2016 seasons, a new crop of Vienna’s finest are going abroad. Six new players left in late July to study and chase their American football dreams at six different high schools in the United States. The 2015-2016 group rejoined the Vienna Vikings in Austria in June.

Wide receiver Tobias Dvorak (Jefferson High) and defensive back Pascal Fröschl (Heritage High) will be spending this year in Indiana. U-19 National Team Players wide receiver Santino Schlimpert (Harper High) and running back Florian Maier (Howell High) will attend high schools in Michigan.

Two of our offensive linemen are heading to different states. Axel Elmauthaler (York High) was placed in Virginia, Maximilian Müllner got drawn to Tennessee to attend high school.
